Oh noes!
Thanks for your patience, we should have multiple new options available soon!
This has no effect on existing orders. |

Well.. don't starve, Rhis. I guess I'll have to wait a bit to donate.

Did you look into the Google checkout (or whatever it is called) system. Used that for Torchlight and was good on the consumer side of things.

Well, the fees are the same. But if they're more friendly, then go for it.

Hmm...
Could you possibly set up as a donation rather than pre-order, make sure people give you their email address, and then send the pre-order codes separate from paypal or whoever? |

From an accountant's point of view, no, since you'd have to reflect the economic substance of the transaction (ie, as a pre-order) rather than the legal wording (a donation with a "free" game afterwards).

We've looked at Google Checkout but the wording in their Terms of Agreement are similarly vague. We tried to contact Google for clarification but, of course, it is impossible to get anyone on the phone. We're wary of going to Google Checkout until we can get some sort of assurance that we're not going to run into the same issue with them.
We think the most reliable solution is to go through the more legitimate merchant services offered by our bank. |
