Default Completed quests reappearing.

I was playing for a while with steam cloud saving off and then had a hell of a time getting my character to show after enabling.

I was able to get it synced, but when I got in-game, I have at least 3 quests that I've finished, reappear in my quest log.

One was The Warden. So I popped over and killed him again and it popped up on the screen saying complete. When I returned to town, Bourbon has a silver question mark and I cannot turn it in.

I'm in the same boat with Securing Burrwitch and Murderers and Worse. Says completed but I cannot turn them in.

If you're playing with the cloud have you also turned it on ingame as well in the options menu?

It's enabled in-game and on Steam.

So what happens with the local save with cloud-disabled? Does it display the same problem?

Perhaps some file corruption occurred with the cloud-saving.

Aye.. that sucks then. Not sure if any of the 3rd party cheat tools can fix something like that or not, if anyone knows chime in? Otherwise Crate may be able straighten it out for ya.

Sorry to hear about your problems, No idea if this will help, but try (after BACKING UP ) going to either your local or cloud saves on your pc and find your char [player.gdc], and find the char backup file [player.gdc.bak], and rename it removing the [.bak] and see if this char will load correctly.

Char save locations. These are the default install locations, if you have installed steam elsewhere then please navigate to the steam folder there.

Steam Cloud Saving

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\folder of numbers\219990\remote\save\main

Grim Dawn Local Saving
C:\Users\username\Documents\my games\Grim Dawn\save\main
