Default 2x same item proc

So back in the day there was a myth.

If i put the 2 same weopen or rings the 2 proc wont work properly.

Is this still true?

Exapmle 2 voidheart (10% Vita chaos ress) or 2 warpfire (15% fire, ather ress)

If no, how they work?

1. i got 20% chance on 30% fire aether ress, 20% chance on 20% vita chaos ress.

2. I got 2x 10% chance on 15% fire aether ress, 10% chance on 10% vita chaos ress.

3. Only once aplied.

Anything else?

It always was a myth, the procs work as intended, they have individual chances to trigger and individual cooldowns.

I assume that corresponds to your option 2

Much in the same way that you can have 2 x the same buff or 2 x the sec proc effect (e.g. fireball. Each operates independent of the other.

As I used to understand, the procs will both apply, but the -%RR won't stack. But I guess I was wrong in that regard. Which is pretty nice actually.

Multiple debuffs of the same source do not stack. Applying two will only refresh the duration of the first.

They shouldn't stack with each other. But you could proc them on separate targets.

It'd be like having 2 occultists in multiplayer - you don't get to double CoF enemies.

^unfortunately, and as noted, I think identical is considered same source.

So much like bwc spam, dot and -RR won't stack. Therefore, if procs are mainly RR or dot, you might be better off selecting different rings, for example.

But one advantage of 2 of same type is more chances to apply the proc, depending on the conditions needed.

In -%RR case does not change anything, but if u have 2 fireball proc that gives a better chance to proc. I think 2 different item are the best too.
