Am i missing something ?

Thanks all in advance for the help.
Main thing is devotions can supply theirselves. In some cases you must get temporary devotion as a step to what you want, for example - take Scholar's Light, get Chariot, then remove Scholar's Light.
Tomorrow I'll help you with complete devotion route, can't open grimtools on phone right now.

Finally! A person who knows what is going on here!
Kellhus was not a Nonmen king, so this character deserves his own build series. Same for Achamian, probably Iyokus as a summoner, Mekeritrig ... I have lots of ideas, and I'm looking for most fitting combinations to implement these characters' identity.
Maybe I'll make another build series when I'm ready.

+ Crossroads Ascendant
+ Wolverine
- Crossroads Ascendant
+ Crossroads Chaos and Order
+ Viper, Sailor's Guide
+ Crossroads Eldritch, Hawk, Scholar's Light, Chariot
- Scholar's Light, Crossroads Eldritch
+ Widow, Manticore
+ Lion, Harp
- Lion
+ Eel, Jackal, Aeon's Hourglass.

This route can be applied if you already have 55 devotion points opened. At the start of the game try to get Manticore and Widow ASAP, their resistance reduction is irreplaceable on early stages against aether enemies. Then Chariot, Hawk and Harp for offense and energy replenishment. After you get all 55 devotion points, apply Tonic of Clarity (obtained for some story quests in DLC) and respec accordingly to what I said above.

Hope you'll enjoy this build

Sorry of late replay. This forum is a bit stupid that it cannot notify you of the latest replies nor which thread you were interacting with .

I guess that's just the reality of being an Arcanist. Elementalist or an aether caster, either would require devatstion to boost your general damage. Missile, carlido and aether ray can all do fine just by themselves but wont say they'll do great without devastation. It will be an purposeful degrading of your build. Even someone intentionally drops devation in the process of his BD crafting, he would surely need some other skill as very much of damage as of devastation.

We've lost interest in this skill merely because of its poor visual presentation. Not to piss off all hard working devs, but it's a dumb skill. When it's visually lost as your target draws closer, the attraction is gone while the fun is killed.

Anyway, here is how I fancied this skill .

Updated the build.
Dying God + Giant + Spear of the Heavens are better damage-wise than Manticore + Chariot. Also changed the book for phys resist. And relic for additional RR and life-leech RR.
Now this build don't use AAR, took CT nuke instead for burst ADCtH.

Yes, I don't use AAR any more. It's a crappy skill overall. I used it due to relatively high damage, but transmuted CT heals you in addition to its damage, so CT is a better choice.

Lost a lot of health compared to your great build but if you love meteors...

Now if i can only find a decent item with sky shard on it, I will have the full set.

Update.

This battlemage was surely fun to play, but its effectiveness in Crucible suffered.

So, I decided to make it a classic Devastation Spellbinder.

It's tanky, safe enough and clears Gladiator in 9-10 minutes. Only Aleks meteors are annoying.
