As it stands now Aether Tendril is pretty much useless. It is a single target skill with a 3 second cooldown, yet its damage is very low.
Personally I feel this skill should have no cooldown and it should have a 75% chance to chain to 2 nearby enemies. This would make the skill actually useable and almost give me my castable chain lightning ![]()

Pretty much the only use is as debuff for bosses.
I like your idea, it sounds useful. Also Aether doesn't get many active skills from items. |

The debuff may suggests as mentioned that it's an anti-boss skill and not a mob clearing skill. But I kind of agree. I think it'd be a little better if the target struck by A.T. got a little aether aoe ground effect also.
