- 7+ New Locations
- Hawton Mine
- An Ice Cave
- Odul Aela's Dungeon
- Ancient Ruins (Inner Part)
- Transition Part I & II
- Snowy Landscape
- Above the Waste
- Ashes
- A New Enemy Type -- Chthonic Crystals
- Completely Reworked the Previous Content
- Changed 'Shard Quest' -- Quest will be initiated by picking up the first shard; Quest progress will update only when all segments are found; No NPC-interaction required to complete the quest.
- 'Balanced' the fun items -- The Rusty Knife increases experience gain by 250%; The Bomber requires expensive special ammunition to not annihilate the holder (don't exploit this!); I'm Attractive makes you extremely squishy, but attractive; Illuminated Hat does what it does; Sword In Stone got tuned down; Removed Don't Touch Me, Smelly Pants (You can still sniff the filthy peasant) and Flashy Shoes.
- Denial Play-Through -- You may now access the Redemption Hub when you are higher than level 85 for a high fee, but you won't be able to receive iron bits from the Lectern of Wisdom anymore, so you might actually save your iron bits to be able to buy anything there.
- Added new level rewards to the Lectern of Wisdom -- Besides some new higher level rewards, all Talismans (Relics) have been added as rewards.
- Balancing of existing quests, including the Lectern of Questing.
- Environmental improvements -- as in Music; Sounds; Weather; Expanded the Yamuna Forest a bit; Changes to the Graveyard and Entrance to the Catacombs.
- Dialog & Text rewriting and improvements -- Renaming of many NPCs; Rewriting of nearly all dialogs and quests, leading to less cringe and better readability.
- A new NPC added to Edge of Eternity. Pet it.
- Changes to enemy encounters / placements -- Relocating and removing many encounters, for example Alkamos; Making encounters less chaotic and drastic; Reduced the difficulty of the first area.
- Chests -- Balancing loot from chests and adding many new ones to the world (~10-15 new variations; an example: jewelery boxes); Hidden One-Shot chests added (currently 11).
- New Quest -- a small new quest given by the Woman at a Campfire, now named Yosefine (will reward Mistborn Talisman, since you could not acquire it till now).
- Quite a lot of other changes and fixes

What's new?
Spoiler!
- Edge of Eternity
A hub where merchants, some training dummies, respec- & dismantle-NPCs and a riftgate are located. The merchants are offering everything you need to build a completely functional level 85 character:- All Legendaries
- All Enchantments
- All Mats
I think that's a great opportunity to test builds for the actual main game.
What's not included, are Epics. So, I don't know if they are required, but I may create a shortcut from Edge of Eternity to the hub of the "bad" playthrough, where you can get your Epics.
- Enemies
I guess that's the big deal. Both areas are now filled with enemies. A lot of them. Mostly packs of heroes, nicely separated from each other. Some bosses here and there, like Alkamos, casually chilln' (get it) in the Abandoned House.
- New starting location -- The Prison
This is going to be the really short "Prelude" or Introduction to the rest of the mod. You get to make a choice, by defining "your former self". This choice currently doesn't have any effect, and it doesn't matter which portal you take - both are leading to the same location.
I plan to offer two different playthroughs of the mod: Basically a "good" and a "bad" one. The differences may be:- Difficulty. E.g. you won't have access to Legendary items
- Locations. You may be able to visit different locations, which are excluded in the other playthrough. E.g. you may only be able to access the Catacombs/Labyrinth by the alternate entrance, which will be harder to get through
- Dialogue & Quests. E.g. you may get the dynamite to destroy the barricade directly from Beauregard, instead of searching for it
- Story. Well, maybe a different story, if there's going to be one
Both choice-descriptions are not final.
- New Enemy, called "Your field of view", which summons "Bad pathing"

N Y D I A M A R
Current Features of Nydiamar- At least 3 to 6 hours long!
- Fast and easy to build a character due to higher drop and experience rates
- Hub, where you can buy equipment and test your build on unfortunate training dummies
- A detailed world, with currently following locations:
- Prelude
- Edge of Eternity & Underground Fortress
- An Abandoned House
- Cruesle Canyon
- An Outpost
- Yamuna Forest
- The Hawton Mine
- The Lorshade Mine
- A Strange Well
- Flooded Mountain Woods
- A Graveyard, of course
- The Tomb
- The Catacombs
- Odul Aela's Dungeon
- Nehada Desert & Ancient Ruins
- Transition Part I & II
- Snowy Landscape
- An Ice Cave
- Above the Waste
- Ashes
- ... and some minor ones
- 2 different play-throughs
- Start out with level 85 / 100 and consider an endgame build to beat Nydiamar -- you can buy directly all relevant items available in the game
- Start out with level 1 / 15 / 45 and progress by your own through quests and just playing the game
- Working riftgates with a custom map
- Fun items to have fun with
- 6 unique quests with great rewards, as well as a Lectern of Questing with simple bounties
*snip* ... since I already reached the char limit (30000) for this post, I moved some information to a different one.
About the different ways to play Nydiamar and how to start. Please read this before playing.
I recommend you to start out with level 15 by using the 'Head-Start'-option on Normal (eventually Veteran) difficulty. This is a great way to enjoy Nydiamar without being overwhelmed by the new mechanics, locations and overall difficulty.
If you decide to start a level 85/100-play-through, do it on at least Elite. Ultimate offers a great challenge and is recommended to experienced players.
If you don't care about leveling and farming or don't want to consider a solid build, you have the option to make yourself literally
invincible and
'cheese' through the content.
Preview.
You can easily switch to the actual campaign of Grim Dawn (and back), and continue playing there. Everything carries over. You need to restart the game before you change the mod, so the world map loads correctly.
