Another feedback that turns into a debate on how much a respec should cost:

Lol at that discussion

Also,

I've been going through some community posts and it appears it's been infested with Seasons\Leagues players from D3\PoE. Offline only players aren't too active in that community atleast from the looks of it. Not sure how I feel about that tbh.

What software is that btw?
I like vBulletin tbh, pretty much every vBulletin Forum I visit is good.

Indeed and they're not very open-minded.

I've tried all classes to 40-ish. I agree with all the impressions already linked above: not enough skill slots; respec costs too high; aggro problems; some bugs in certains skills etc.

Casters (Mage and Acolyte) are way too squishy and left with few defence options without any advantage in damage output . Ward (=energy shield) isn't as strong as it should be and has to be re-adusted.

To many pet support/synergy in Shaman and Acolyte, which makes it almost impossible to try a non-pet build. Which means 2 out of 5 classes are pet oriented. Meeeh.

Sentinel (=Warrior/Soldier) is, as expected, the most powerful and easiest class.

Pet: no attack command and the aggro range way to large; you spend your time waiting for the pet to come back or killing mobs it brought back.
Mobs aggro out of the screen, which is pretty annoying too.

Waypoints (=rift) are surrounded by mobs. Very annoying as you aggro as soon as you teleport (cf. aggro range).

The core of the game (skills, talents, tree, endgame content) seems quite good. Graphics are very bad, I don't care, I also play retro a lot. My only concern is the global philosophy and direction: can it be a good solo/multi experience, like GD, or a league fiesta with a toxic and over competitive environment ?

Reminds me of the stair traps in D2, I actually like those, but they could be deadly. I played HC a lot then and lost a couple of characters to a double boss pack right on top of the entrance to a dungeon. Kind of a shame modern games don't have things like that anymore, they kept you on your toes.

Offline players are not active because there are no offline available, yet.

I am interested and the dev did say they are going to implement offline only play, but I am not going to buy in unless I can see what they offer for offline play. Years of Kickstarter and Early Access tells me things tend to change, so the offline only mode that the dev promise can simply gone the next minute they change their mind. Also, I would like to see how much content is gated behind online only before I pay.
