A build for Warder
I want to make something like a strong melee warrior with enough health and strong attack, would anything like this work?

Idea of Briarthorn is some support and providing bonuses for our melee attacks and survival.
Not sure about Stormcaller's Pact, but in theory we have strong physical damage, so we get some extra lighting and elemental damage from the skill. Enemies with strong physical resistance would not be a problem on this way.

Would appreciate if anybody can give some links on other similar builds...but some good ones xD

I'm running one of these, am up to level 53 atm with very little of the gear suggested.

It's destroying everything, a very effective combat caster who can use lots of lightning damage and tank as well.

No pesky pets required.

Does Savagery works together with all Brute Force line? I thought it does not count like default weapon attack :/

And if you go Bleeding:

1. 2H lightning - that's a druid but same concept will work for a warder - electrocute build

2. 2H physical - not updated, but the idea hadn't changed

3. Bleed.
Can also be made with 2H weapon - most recent

4. Retaliation

And many others. Warder isn't bad and could be played in a lot of various ways. It's just most of the time there is a better class for the same idea.

^ Good post SD. Although there are more optimal builds, I find I'm more melee-centric and warder allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds. I'm not experienced with casters at all. Of course, it's personal preference, but I find warder's durability and aggression more flexible than some other melee casters.

I'm not much of a Crucible player though, which I think is a big deal in terms of how we all perceive builds.

Thanks all, it seems like the class is just what I expected and can be a strong melee warrior with some extra features.

Savagery works with the brute force line. Though in my opinion upheaval is garbage and not even worth a single point. If you are running two handed and not using savagery and brute force line then you are losing a lot that will really help the build.
