Hi and welcome!

1. The game is in pre pre pre pre pre pre alpha currently (sorry if I forgot a pre). I believe they said the alpha build will be available to Legendary supporters some time in 2011.

2. You will get an email with the cd key, and you won't have to worry about buying it again if you format your computer. If you do have any issues, there's an email address that I don't have handy, but you can find it in the top section of the forums under "order support".

Let us know if you have any further questions and don't forget about the search feature!

The $20 is the finished product charge IIRC. You get the game when it is released.

No kidding, you want a happy ending with that too?

How about a little patience.

i have patiente, but give me a reason why should i pay now instead of paying when the whole thing is done? when these developers talk about not having enought money i see no good reason to give them my money when i got no assurence this game is even comming out there are thousands of games just in the project state or pre pre pre pre pre (sry if i forgot a pre) alpha state and noone is asking for money why is this one special?
ok i will buy when its out no doubt but until then good luck, and you can modify the buying page of the game and tell ppl for 20$ its a preorder of the game not order.

Look, you're not the only one who's taking that route. But to imply that the game is fail because you're not getting something *now* is, as been said, shallow.

Do what you want. I'm not going to give you a reason to do something you don't believe in.

There definitely is a risk to pre-ordering a game so early in development...no doubt. Heck, at this point it might not even be considered a pre-order and more like showing support

And I think that is the point, for many TQ was a great game and most here want to support that effort. To be honest I think most people here were sad that they would probably never see a TQ2 or another expansion...so the idea that we can actually help this come to fruition with our support? Sign me up!

But this is not required, if the perceived risks are too great in your eyes save your money and wait for release...there's nothing wrong with that.
