Default Mixed Skills for Combination Effect

Surely this idea most likely won't be implemented until an expansion is in production but for now, it's in my head.

Already I can see the similarities of this idea with Diablo 3's skill and rune combination. However I'm not thinking about runes or artifacts altering your skills, I'm thinking more on the lines of skills added to skills that then create a 'new' skill.

For example if this was implemented into TQ, crossing the Fire Orb with Thunder Orb can create a new effect. By casting the 'new' skill, the recharge timers are activated on both skills. The skill however, acts like a combination of the fire orb and thunder orb and maybe an additional property...perhaps throwback and/or ??concussion damage?? instead of stun.

The animation for the skill is up to creative minds to dwell on.
