Hell yes! My gimpy fingers can't click as well as they used to! 481 50.90%
No, that seems like a bit too much automation and would diminish the reward of it. 383 40.53%

Before saying more than that - I can't help saying more anyway, but still -, I'd need the answer to the question that the previous two posters made. In the case of the potion system not having any major changes (pot prices going up, cooldowns being longer and so forth, making them something that you'd think before "spamming"), I'd say it would be better if potions never dropped at all (except for higher grade potions from high grade containers) - you can get as many as you want from shops anyway - so basically a useful potion drop is nothing more than a gold drop in disguise - and picking up a lower grade potion is harmful - potentially even lethal, if the player didn't notice he ran out of the "real potions" and was running on fumes from the crappy ones.

Nor are they using certain modifiers on their weapons, like "-% damage received from undead, "%damage to demons".
/genre

(That's all I had to say, but there's a ten-character minimum)

Default Yes but no

I agree with it being toggle-able, and only with the appropriate stack system, and with instanced loot (otherwise my melee friend is going to steal all my potions while I shoot arrows from a distance). Definitely wouldn't head down the path of auto-pickup loot of any kind, still need some fun of collecting stuff, but yes potions are a necessity and having to manually collect them is tedious.

You know you asked a good question when the 600+-person response is split right in the middle!

Maybe this has been suggested already but... why not have it be an option? People who like picking up potions can click to pick them up. People who want autopickup can use autopickup.

Well in TQ at least mobs often dropped higher grade potions than are available during regular progression. The argument only stands endgame, or when backtracking.

Voted yes to bring it up to 320 yay, 320 no. But I'd really like to have it as an option that can be turned on or off either via hotkey or in the options panel.

Press ALT+KEEP RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON PRESSED for auto-pickup.

You want to pick some potion manually? Pick it
You want to pick all potions? Press some key+mouse (or even only key) for it.

Everyone happy.

My 2¢!
I am just worried about with what I have heard about reduced drop rate that when playing LAN with my younger brother auto pick up will make it harder to share potions.

Ok with potions I can understand autopickup a bit more then with gold but still why drop it in the first place and not hand it out on kill if one whant to include a autopickup?
Also when a autopickup is included then please add a filter to this what kind of potion one whant to pick up at all, I don't whant to go into the inventory every time I acential walk over a wortless minor heal potion to destroy it.

A filter won't be needed: There will only be one type/size of health and energy potions.
