Default Orcs Must Die 2!

Well, the game will be out soon, I'm looking forward to it. I really enjoyed the first one, the prospect of smashing Orc skulls and breaking Orc bones in coop is quite exciting to be honest.

I'm not entirely sure I can convince friends to also get this game right now, but I want to preorder it anyway. Is anyone else interested in the game?

I bought a 4 pack on sale on Steam a while back and gave it to my friends. They all liked it. Hopefully, they liked it enough to join me in a co-op game :P

(although - I might not get it day 1... I have a LOT to play through right now -.-)

I'm considering the double pack, but I've not pulled the trigger yet.

Yeah, I will definitely get it some time in the future. I played OMD!1 the first time two weeks back when I bought it during summer sales..I always thought it will be boring crap, but I sank around 20 hours in it, heh. =)

I snagged the two pack for myself and a friend who surprisingly enjoyed the first.

One thing I hope is that they redo nightmare mode. I enjoy the fact that the orcs get tougher, and there isn't time to stop during the level, but I still wish the game didn't immediately start with the orcs bursting through right away. It takes a bit to remember the layout of the map and then to rapidly place the traps.

Another feature that never got well documented is how score is calculated. As I recall, one has to essentially torture the orcs in order to get a high score. A quick death by way of swinging mace gurantees a low score. Having an orc on fire from the molten floor trap, hit by an elven arrow (+2), running over spikes, triggering wall arrows, being shot by the player, and other small damage items over time is more conducive to a high score.

demo is out, even though there's no news about it, just go to the store page: http://store.steampowered.com/app/201790/ what's curious is that coop seems not included in the demo though.

Hm, the demo wasn't too interesting. Two very short, non-challenging levels. The graphics (also of the cutscenes) continue to impress me and the story seems to be equally interesting as the first one (make of that what you will). With almost no access to traps or ways to try them out, it wasn't really an informative demo for anyone who played OMD 1. They did do something with a variable upgrading system, but I already learned that from the screenies.

I had a pretty good time in the demo, I might prepurchase depending on what all else I'm playing in a couple of weeks. It didn't seem too different from the first game on the surface, but glancing over the future trap/gear upgrades made my OCD go off a little bit.

I grabbed a fraps of the demo if anyone's curious!
