Sounds like Battlefield 3 :P The first few weeks online were fantastic. And then people figured out where to lie down to snipe spawn points etc and then it became a case of first team to overwhelm the other could setup and destroy them repeatedly... the worst thing was I was telling my friends how good the online was (over CoD etc...) but by the time they bought in, the online was pretty bad.

War Z, let it be a warning to all of you, do not buy it! Completely terrible rip off and sells microtransactions that disapoear upon death. You can't swim in the game, the loading for textures is slow and the company has completely ripped off and lied to the buyers.

Just bumping this thread to start this discussion again.

Easily the worst game I ever purchased was Diablo 3... I purchased the collectors edition for $120 and the freaking headphones for $120! The box is still sitting there above me just taunting me of how bad it truly is. I was sooooo hyped for it, Diablo 2 was my favourite game of all time, and the 2008 trailer for Diablo 3 looked to good to be true, looks like it was to good to be true lol. However, the headphones are good. =)

Most recently i would pick Dungeon Seige 3. I don't know if its me or the game that feels so bad. The worst 20 euros i ever spend for a game.

Really? I didn't think DS3 was that bad overall... but its co-op was horrible, as I heard it - not that it affected me. Were you playing co-op Mihalis?

Hmm... it is not the worst game, but it's the purchase I regret the most! Pre-purchased Duke Nukem Forever for full prize! Worst thing I could do... I had to force my self to play it, now I'm shortly before the endboss but man, this game is so BORING! Stopped playing it.
Thanks to Steamcloud, I can try to beat this game later, cause I've payed 50 bucks for it!

The worst game I've ever played... I think it's Lego Racer 2. After me and a friend played the whole night Age of Empires, Creep Smash and Total Annihilation we decided to play something ridiculous. We played over 3 hours. This game is sooo bad, that it's funny.

DNF, D3, Gothic 3 + 4 and every Driver game except the first one were big disappointments.

Hunted the Demon's Forge by Bethesda. Me and my brother bought the game for the coop but the game was quite frustrating to play and had quite a few bugs. The narrative was really cheesy and the overall story wasn't interesting in the slightest.

At least we got it off steam for a lower price but in the end this game just isn't worth the time.

I can't decide.

Either Duke Nukem Forever, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, or Hunted the Demon's Forge.
