Upon closer inspection, it looks like there are no duplicates.
██ = #0C000D = Cod
██ = #000000 = Trout
██ = #E00000 = Herring
██ = #BA0000 = Bass
██ = #0A0E00 = Snapper
██ = #0A0000 = Marlin

Yes, I know, 4 of those look like black. I swear, only Trout actually is.

████████

Well, putting them close together shows very subtle differences.. two of them seem purple, one seems greenish, the other black.. or perhaps a very dark shade of blue.

The second in the lineup is Trout, and that actually is black. Pure black (#000000).

Edit: Actually maybe differences would be easier to see in text?
Cod Trout Snapper Marlin

ladies and gentlemen the fish code:

white - common
Breem - uncommon
Swordfish - magical
Sardine - rare
Angler - unique

Note: I have yet to find a suitable 'white' fish name.

Perhaps Seashell? That's not really fish though.

Bone maybe? It can't be used on here via the name though (I used the hex code)

It does make okay sense, seeing as how all fish have bones. This would also be representing the "bare bones" class of items

I never claimed to be sane. Like I told my sorta-somewhat-not-quite-yet-girlfriend (with whom I am at least nominally going steady): Sanity is for suckers.

I did suspect as much, but I was too bored to actually check, I handed it over to tomorrow-me two days in a row and then it just sorta didn't get done. I find it a bit strange that Trout is pitch-black, though. I didn't see that one coming.

Sold! Seashell isn't a fish, but similar to normal items, they cannot be eaten, and are therefore useless. And just like fish, they come from the sea.

What's the Cult of Crate's stance on seafood, anyway?
