For the most part, I'll be releasing new development updates through the forum but there is a bit of new information about the KS results and such in this update that everyone may find interesting.

Looking good! It's understandable that things are super busy over there lately, but it's still fun to get updates even if it's just "busy with uninteresting stuff".

Glad to hear that the final amount of cashmoneydollars came without any big surprises. Now to put them to use!

Wow, about 60K lost to non-payers? That's just sad, what's the point in pledging when you're not going to go through with it?

I mean, no-one made you do it...

Anyway, I am happy you seem to have kept that in the planning/budget and will still go through the stretch goals, I was excited as all heck to see the final stretch goal, a new faction and storyline!

BTW, also got my key, now (im)patiently waiting for the time to come to actually use it

what? you didn't take into account the ~5% kickstarter and amazon take respectively. which leaves at most 10k missing pledges, probably way less.

Only wish I had known about Grim Dawn a month ago... I would have done the $35 pledge for the Veteran's Medal!


Considering the Grim Dawn Pioneer Edition now... only wish it had Alpha access!

They did not lose 60k to non-payers. The update statement was "$481,000 after fees, failed transactions and such". Kickstarter and Amazon together take a bit more than 10% of the pledged amount for every project. That leaves nearly nothing to failed payments.
