Default Yep...

I agree with the sentiment in this thread but is really sad is how sour a community can turn and seethe with hate (not this community). Its so bad that people are cussing and sending death threats and stuff to Jay Wilson and Diablo employees. I don't know how true it is but there was supposedly and altercation with Jay Wilson and a fan in public last week. Probably just rumor but at the very least the D3 forums are a cesspool for hatred and depressing to be part of (which is why these forums are a breath of fresh air).

Later,
~J

hmm, looks like they moved the timeline a bit. last i heard (eons ago) they were thinking like 3015, which quite frankly was a weird selection, but had interesting possibilities. 3048 puts it more in conventional pre-clan invasion, but you know they could be right around the corner.

f2p model. hmm. well, we'll see how it shakes out. looks promising.

MWO is slated for August release but I've been playing Mechwarrior: Living Legends for the past month or so. It is in open beta and is better than most final releases I've played. It's MP only but is the most fun I've had playing MW games, starting with the MS-DOS games through MW4. Patch 0.6 is coming out soon with more mechs and ASF. It has a somewhat steep learning curve but it has the most amazing moments! $20 if you don't own Crysis Wars (it's a total modification). I've never had more fun playing a BT/MW game!

I don't hate EA.

Okay, they don't change much for their Sport Games, but the only thing you really can change on those are the graphics.
Also, they seem to be poor when it comes to fixing the bugs in those. This is where they milk a lot.

On another note, I think they did alright with Battlefield 3 (and the previous Battlefield franchises) and also, I'm looking forward to Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

I'm a Activision hater, but I will give them a chance to redeem themselves with The Walking Dead (FPS) game which they will publish.
