As season 2 comes to an end, it's always nice to envision the characters according to their background and what their intentions are. it gives a good perspective of the various main characters involved and what they aim for.
I personally like Tyrion cos of his mind tricks, and manipulations. he is also very spirited, and overcomes his weaknesses by utilising what's best in him. secondly comes Rob, the oldest Stark and a good leader even though Cat helped him a lot. and Snow, a wild adventure North of the wall, dealing with wildlings and the dangers present there. keeps you tense all the time. (for some reason, i imagine wildlings with banelings, from 'The Seeker'). any thoughts from those following the series? |

Basically the three you already mentioned. My least favorite (or the one I want to see die a horrible death) is that little bastard on the iron throne

I'm really enjoying the series too. It's departed from the books somewhat, which irritates some people, but I think it's still terrific. Tyrion is an excellent character but my favourite is actually Arya. She's one of the least powerful characters but the most fearless, and way too smart. I like Osha the wildling woman as well. There's something damn sexy about a woman who could slit your throat before you can blink.

yep, i think Geoffrey is the most hated character as well. and frankly, Arya's adventurous spirit is sparkling.
personally, i haven't read the books. if i did i would already know the story so i wouldn't watch the series. maybe i ll read them after it finishes, hopefully after the season number is a 2 digit number. that was quite queer in fact. he swore an oath and if he voids it i presume he'll end up like the one in the first episode. it would be a shivering scene having Rob execute Snow. |

I read the books after watching season one - I couldn't wait 10 months to find out what happened next. Trouble is now that I've read the books I'm left waiting for the next one.
Agree about Joffrey. He's such a little monster and the actor who plays him (can't think of his name) really nails it. The day he gets what's owing is gonna be sweet... |

well you've named them already haha..
Although yeah Joffrey is the one i hate the most, but that means hes a good actor right? or is it normal that i'd like to punch him in the face and make him eat his own balls

I was hooked after Season 1. The books are great, I highly recommend everyone read them or get the audio books. I listened to them all and eagerly awaiting the last one(s). My two favorite died early on in the first Season/book - Eddard and Robert. I would say now I like Arya and Sansa Stark. In the show, the best looking so far is Melisandre IMO. |
