Default Defense based mission type

I know these kinds of games rarely involve defending someplace, but I thought it would fit in with this game world/survival mode. I was thinking you find a group of survivors in a run down building or house and you have to repair doors and windows, set up defensive positions. Maybe even have to help defend a full village against waves of enemies.

This reminds me of that side-quest in TQ:IT, in the Elysian Fields, where you had to defend the standard against successive waves of monsters. A similar type of quest in GD would be good, especially if those NPC's with gatling guns were involved.

I hope a quest like this exists. I used to play an MMO called Legend of Mir and it was essentially a Diablo in MMO form. But there were whole towns you would have to protect from waves of enemies and you could heal the wall archers and what not to help them defend.

In a single player setting you could do so much more, like you say fix holes and wreckage and what not to reinforce the town's defenses. Do want!

yeah those side-quests varieties add up to the game's interesting part of handling things while providing a richer experience. i dunno if it will be only in the survival mode though.
