Question about Alpha and Legendary Orders

Myself and a friend are considering upgrading to legendary, but my question is will legendary pre-orders still be out when alpha is out? My friend will probably buy the legendary after i tell him my opinion of the alpha, so hopefully legendary will still be available when alpha comes out...

Anyway, I remember that they wanted to keep all preorders up until the release. So it'd be possible. But the sooner, the better for the game ofcourse

I'll be upgrading to legendary and giving him my regular key. If he likes my opinion of the alpha then he'll buy legendary. *Just a clarification*
