Yeah that's what the article says, but apparently there's some rumors it happens to other classes, though still under the same circumstance of equipping prior to the end of the quest.

Personally I'm playing it safe and waiting until after the quest even though I'm using a Barbarian. Not like a shield will make that big of a difference so early in the game anyways.

It's about equipping the shield on the follower, right? So you can waltz around with your shieldbarb.

Yeah exactly, sorry if I sounded a bit unclear. It's only an issue if you equip the templar with a shield prior to finishing the quest. The article states it's only with the Demon Hunter as well, but there's some folks saying they had it happen with other classes.

I must admit i am having fun and haven't run into any problems so far other than 37. Managed to get my Barbarian to lv 13.

I never had a problem equiping my Templar, but then i don't think i tried to equip him with anything either until after it told me he was now my follower (Didn't even know I could equip him before that)

I'm also really enjoying finding lots of little bits of lore all over the place and being able ot go into my quest journal and look up all the info i've collected along the way.

I think ym fave monsters ot kill right now are the wretched Mothers, but thats only because thye projectile vomit and spawn stuff when thye do

I also had a small laugh when i saw the quest Legacy of Cain' I had some serious flashbacks to Legacy of Kain.

I am sure those computers are well isolated from the ones that let you log in to play.

Serves me right for going to metacritic and reading the user reviews...not only did my eyes bleed from the stupidity of it all, but it also spoiled the ending of Max Payne and spoiled a major plot point for Game of Thrones series.
