Yeah, I'm waiting for it to come out for consoles...that way I won't need to have a constant Internet connection in order to play.
At least that is what I am hoping.

You would still need to be always online. The game runs on Blizzard's servers like World of Warcraft does, only difference I can see is the amount of players per game world has a max of four.

Preordered it couple of months ago. I had enormous fun in beta stress tests, that said, you can't sheep jump to conclusions and fully judge games before you play it by yourself. Diablo 3 does something completely brand new, and I believe most people don't like new things. Once this game comes out, people should just give this new system a chance and then judge it.
I, myself can't wait to finally sit and play it. I've been watching this game evolving since Titan Quest good ol times, and I'm impressed. Diablo 3, Borderlands 2 and Grim Dawn is all I'll need for my loot gaming and 'watching numbers go up' needs. |

After watching some of the Blizzcon 2011 I'm less sceptical about builds. I still don't like that it's so easy to swap around, but there will be a bit of work in it as you'll need to have the right equipment to support a certain build. So the builds will be in the equipment.
Of course you could just buy what you need in the auction house, but I don't see myself using the AH to buy anything at all. I've never traded with anything other than friends in Diablo. |

I was on the same boat as you until I actualy got into the beta and played the game. Even though all of the skills are giving to you at lv 60 its not going to be easy pick any builds. I played the beta so much that I could tell you everything that was said hahahaha :-)
