They are not planning a boxed version? It would be saving them alot of money but for people like me who perfers to own physical copies thats not good news. I don't have money to back anything else at the moment and it was looking to be and interesting game that i would have liked to back but it might not do as well now. : (

New reward - Limited Edition Box!
Many of you asked for it and we are happy to offer a Limited Edition Box of Legends of Eisenwald, together with Collector's Edition of Discord Times, digital art book, sound track and a booklet. The box will include 2 discs – one with the games and materials, another with sound track. And it still includes all previous rewards and it is included in higher level rewards.

Yes, Alex PM-ed me via KS and asked me to update this thread. He is a really nice guy and speaks German, too.

I moved the whole spin-off discussion to Digital distribution vs. Boxed versions ... let's focus on Eisenwald here.

I backed this one a while back. Looks like they already have a lot of work done and so far it seems pretty solid.

Legends of Eisenwald kickstarted - Thank You All!
To thank you all who helped us to get to the Eisenwald we are introducing a special scenario for you, our backers – "A road to Iron Forest". This will be delivered with the game to all who supported us already and who will support us at Kickstarter.

After we get some sleep we will send you a mail to vote on stretch goals that include:

• Realistic two-stage castle assault
• Boarding battle for ships
• Possibility to upgrade castles and destroy/burn enemy castles or villages
• Seasons change on global map
• Collector’s Edition Box for $175

Linux and MacOS version of the game will happen anyway and for release together with PC version in October will remain a stretch goal at $100000. And we probably can add three more goals before this amount.
