Contributions have been slowing in amount and numbers since they peaked just after the funding goal was achieved. As posted elsewher, I do think it is important to have 'leveling' goals to aim for. Prospective funders need motivation in the form of goals as well as the other tangible rewards. An atmosphere of excitement and purpose needs to return if the funding is to be maximised. There is a lot of competition within Kickstarter and GD is not a cause celebre in the way that Republique (amazingly) is or Starlight Inception was. I suspect that backers and potential backers really need more reasons to fund GD further. I really encourage the team to attend to this post haste.

Having said that, if we don';t get a further penny - I'd still say that this has been an enormous success and congratulate the devs on a job well done.

Hopefully. It has to get up before diablo 3 explodes to be the only thing the internet is talking about for days.

The Article reads like one continuous endorsement of GD and Crate. Seeing as it is the first time an outsider got to experience the game, it must be a relief for the Crate guys to get such positive feedback. Great article and hopefully it'll bring in a lot of extra Kickstarter backers!
