To be honest, I loved Morrowind. I thought the world and storytelling in that game was amazing. Oblivion was an instant preorder, but ended up being a letdown for me. I have nothing against Skyrim, and with the level scaling out and more unique dungeons in, I am willing, again, to take the risk. I am very familiar with how/why the Elder Scrolls series is as loved as it is. I just hope I can fall in love with it again myself.

Time will tell on Amalur.

indeed time will tell. I'm sure amalur will be good.. in fact i check on it often see how it turns out.. because it could really go either way.. for instance as you mentionned, bad port / level scaling? (never saw that question answered) / modding etc.

I do have my hopes set high as there are not many good RPGs, open world which can really give you more than 100h of gameplay !

i personally will wait till i see if it is on Steam.. if it isnt.. dont know if i'll even touch the game

Its an EA title and I doubt it would be on Steam (not really sure since EA has been shifting away from Steam) but rather Origin. Also, since its a new game, I would rather stay away from it until I see reviews.

apparently, (rumors) This and mass effect 3 will be on steam, after launch of origins, they'd be dumb not to they'll lose customers if they dont...

i dont wna start over my mass effect just because of stupid ass origin

ME3 isnt coming to Steam. PC gamer had put up an article confirming that.

if they DO indeed not bring it to steam, they WILL lose customer, would just give me one more reason to boycott EA

but i saw this from an official bioware employee

''Mass Effect 3 is not currently available on Steam. This may change in the future, but complaining to BioWare/EA that it is not on Steam will not help. We continue to work with Steam/Valve to make Mass Effect 3 available on Steam.''

for 1, valve WANTS mass effect 3
for 2, EA wants more money, thereby brining mass effect 3 to steam
for 3, EA loses customers if they dont bring to steam

So i personally think it WILL be after launch, still two monts to go

i will NOT install origins, even he bloody EULA says that EA is allowes to gather information on your PC to ''better serve you'' and that they ''may use this information''
