Hi, that command found the 53 records just fine.

Howdy!

It turns out there is a bug in the "swap-variant" command that makes it always fail when running on windows. It went unnoticed because I usually develop the tool on osx. It's all fixed though! Yay?

As usual, use the "update" command to grab the latest! =)

Nailed it! nice one. I had to re-download because of the sunjavabugthing but once i did it was all good. Thanks Man

Hello there! I'm trying to add some inventory sacks to my new character so I don't have to go to the town as often,however both your ''set "inventory/0/items "inventory bag"''(which says there is no match) and trying to edit the amount of sacks by using ''set sack-count'' (which gives an error).

Am I doing something wrong here? I'm genuinely confused

Try this:

In a previous post, an extra “ was added by by mistake in a similar command.

I only have one issue: As I check in the grimdawntool web, there is an item name "Gildam Arcanum Coomendation". When I use "set" command to add it into my inventory, it only spawn the "Mythical" one

Howdy!

Since a few versions ago, the editor was changed to generate the highest powered (level requirement) variant possible, regardless of whether your character can equip it or not. If you want to choose the exact variant, please use the recently introduced "swap-variant" command.

Here's an example:

> set inventory/0/items "Gildam Arcanum Commendation"

Item placed in inventory-sacks/0/inventory-items/80
... <omitted> ...

> swap-variant inventory/0/items/80

1) records/items/gearaccessories/medals/d104_medal.dbr
                   ...

a) abort
The menu works in the same way as the character loading menu. Just type in your choice of 1, 2 or 'a'. The command can also be used to swap only the affix of the item.
