An cool idea came to me the other day when I was reading up about crows, ravens and rooks for a D&D character concept. I read that a group of ravens is called an unkindness. I know the Occult mastery has a skill to summon a raven (or something similar), so my idea was to add an upgrade skill to the raven that was a buff aura. The aura could affect players and other summoned creatures, giving them a buff called 'Unkindness' (I like to think of it as the raven adopting you and your minions to its flock).
The 'Unkindness' buff would simply be a retaliation damage buff, reflecting a percent of damage received back at the monster with the percentage increasing as more points are added. It might not sound too fancy but I really think the name adds a lot of flavor to the existing summon raven skill.

Maybe the raven could gain ythe ability to remove certain debuffs, such as cleanse for poison or purify for curses.
Which edition Druthers? I am in Dark Sun 4e. and DMing 2nd.
