Default Paths

Oh and for anyone playing TQ, do try out the Paths mod. It's very, very good. Potentially even better than GD.

So I tried the new class till lvl 12. In short, I didn't like it at all.

It's somewhat of an Inquisitor, but so much more boring.
The WPS skill is supposed to make hybrid builds more viable (it doesn't work with staffs), conversion of damage is a novel mechanic for TQ, but since I had played GD a lot it's just meh.

This WPS is pretty much the cornerstone of the class, if you're not going to use this WPS you wouldn't want this class at all.

A few weird skills like placing landmines around you or making a wall of stones at the point, such skills are rarely a good idea for ARPG.
The only skill I somewhat liked is some sort of a delayed arcane blast, it's quite strong but damn hard to aim if you're not melee, and AOE isn't that great.

Overall the class looks like a mod by the beginner modder. I'm pretty sure Mastery/Destenies/Lilith or whatever had better class concepts.

I went for Rune + Hunting (the class is called Dragon Hunter, lol) and felt like I should had just played classy Hunting + Storm instead.

Tomorrow I'll try to start with lvl 40 character and check the new locations (yes, it's an option now). I have some hopes that they're actually aren't that bad as people say, although chances are pretty slim by now.

Yes, I haven't seen any pants as well. Perhaps it's just an optinal skin or something, since walking in a greek tunic in snowy locations would be very weird.

Can you brief me a little about this mod?

I'd argue that Soulvizier is even better. Shame it doesn't work with anniversary edition.

Still, I'm surprised, and somewhat disappointed that they added new weapon types with this expansion, but didn't considered adding two handed weapons to the game... this is something I missed deeply on TQ to this day.

With the new nordic theme of the expansion and this new mastery, it would be a nice opportunity to make the Runemaster a mastery dedicated to two handed weapons...

tried the accomplished hero option just to see new areas and actually they dont look that bad.. feels good to be playing this game again but sadly new mastery is rubbish indeed at least on first impression but will see..

Yep. The game simply feels incomplete without two handed melee weapons.

The new items are quite ugly. But That's not enough to keep me from playing this Xpac.
