In aom they even use full blue sets for endgame dreadwalker and silver sentinel for example, single blues are also very good the list is long : magelord set, elemental rings set, myth bonesnap gavel, myth dreadnought footpads etc...

Thanks for these last couple of posts guys. I have asked in the past about the usefulness of blue items and have not gotten an answer as clear as this.

I can name a whole lot more that are great.
So 12 items out of several hundred epics? Really proving a point there.

And even if it´s an item, that you won´t use...blue signals:
You have a chance for rare materials when dismantling.

As a result of this thread I've fired up my fire/poison Pyro again. He is using the Sharpshooters set which is blue and after a little tuning, doing just fine working his way to Malmouth at the Ultimate level. Blue items matter!

So will patch 1.0.4.0 solve the game breaking issue of Kerrick not being given a Gravestone?

I've been reading most, if not all posts from this and the last update. I don't think this needs a dedicated topic.

I've finally had time to check out the new controller layout and it's f****** AWESOME!

The camera rotation, the button assignment, it all feels natural, loved it, though there is one thing I miss for a full controller experience...
...are there plans to improve it further? Mainly, items on ground checking.

I'm still a newbie, about 30 hours into it, just reached Fort Ikon's Rift at lvl 46. I don't even know how or when I'll be able to augment or what it takes, just to give an idea (not asking about it, I'm taking my time with the game).

It's no big deal, and only needed when some mass drops occur.

So, when checking a lot of items on the ground, I still have to use the mouse, I couldn't figure any surefire fast way to rotate between near drops, as in this screenshot, am I missing something?

Thank you guys.

You are not. I have switched to play with controller, too, and therefore set my loot filter to rare+. With the increased drop rate of rare items, you also get gear upgrades often enough.
