This is excellent! I loved Titan Quest. In fact, went back and played it for a couple of hours last week.

I started playing TQ:IT again after so long a couple weeks ago and i am having lots of fun. I consider it to still have the better graphics and physics in the ARPG genre, although its from 2006. Definedly deserves a place in top 100 list.

Default DRM free version of TQ Gold?

I have purchased Titan Quest - Gold this year and I'm playing it for a couple of weeks. In fact I got to Grim Dawn doing some research about TQ.

Considering what a fine game TQ is I trust that Grim Dawn will be even better so this why I already pre-ordered the Loyalist Edition.

I wonder, is there a chance to have a DRM free version for TQ Gold, like releasing it on GOG per chance? I'll buy it again just for that. Or maybe is it possible to have an official no disk exe?

Thanks!

I had a problem with my disc and did a bit of googling. I found that if you run "start backup.exe" (in the games folder) rather than the proper exe then it won't look for the disc being in the drive. Hence no DRM to worry about.

Default picked up Gold also

I have my retail boxes but picked up TQ Gold last week. Started playing again with a new and a couple old characters. The game environment still looks great, and better, with the widescreen monitor I have now.

Thanks, you are right. I got this info myself a bit later. I'm not 100% sure but I think that start backup.exe is part of the fan patch (which I already have installed).

Great news - I still play it. TQ always deserved more exposure than it got. One of the great lost games that not enough people have heard of.
