Yeap, I've finally been fully converted to the church of Arcade Fire.

Enjoying the fluff out of the Reflektor album, with the volume up loud enough to cause further hearing lose.

Other stuff that been on foobar:

Concord Dawn - Chaos By Design
favourite track is A Man For All Seasons featuring Paul McLaney, aka Gramsci.

Mogwai - Rave Tapes

Gojira - Magma

And of course, searching for a streaming version of Rave Tapes I found there's a new Mogwai album out. I foresee it being on repeat for ages :P

I'm a big fan of Porcupine Tree and Steven Wilson's solo work.

This song is an outtake of his newest album, To The Bone, and it's absolutely amazing and sounds like the old Porcupine Tree music. I love it!

Moving Mountains by Thrice

If I'm James Dean then you're Audrey Hepburn by Sleeping with Sirens

I listen to a lot of the same songs on repeat on the way to / from work and sing along to them. I've been listening to these ones the past few days.

After listening to the new Mogwai album Every Country's Sun on so many times I can't recall, I can confirm it kicks arse. Not as much arse as Mr Beast and there's no Xmas steps long runs, but it still reaches and hits the dynamics and impact Mogwai are famous for. In other words, quiet to loud songs, layering and making instrumental compositions that have surprising emotional weight.

Picks:
Every Country's Sun

Don't Believe The Fife

Old Poisons

Yes, they also actually sing on the rare occasion :P

[edit] Oh and the title track, Every Country's Sun is the one that gives me goose bumps and gives me the urge to roll the volume up as loud as it can go.
