Nope, it's a thick client so all processing is done in your browser. The "rebuild" thingy is needed for "full text"-ish search. But there will be advanced search added to db at some point after FG release which won't require this rebuild process and the search will be instant.

Dammitt doesn't sit here 24/7. Just pressing on him to say something is literally being rude towards him and not respecting him at all. You can ask nicely and wait like a civilized human being for him to respond.
