I don't know if this is a bug, but think it could be corrected (or the action/association not allowed).
In TQ, some active skills are preferred for normal attack instead of the base one. To conveniently do so, you associate them with the left mouse button. Example of left-click preferred attack in TQ :
I read on a TQ forum that some would use targeted skills with cooldown as an alternative left-click attack. Then, when you left click on a valid target, and the skill is ready to use, the animation starts as if you had right-clicked on the target (for a right mouse button associated skill) or choose the icon and then selected the target on the screen. Examples of left-click targeted attacks with cooldown in TQ :
To tell the truth, I only tried and experienced that with War wind, yesterday. With the normal (base) attack, and with the designed "left-click" attacks, you have to click but once for the toon to connect to his target and beat it to the death. The engine goes on the attack without further clicking. What happens with those skills that have a cooldown (and not said to be "left-clickable") is, that the first time you click on the target, the skill is correctly actuated, but then you have to click another time for the base attack to occur (while the associated skill cools down). What is strange is that you have to click most often twice for the attack to launch, as if the engine could not decide between the used skill and the base attack. The consequence is that you have to go crazy with your mouse to track and click on the target. I would feel more comfortable if the attack goes on with the base attack until the cooldown is over, then the engine re-activate the skill, and then resume with the base attack, etc, without any target loss. Will this be the case with GD ? |

I have noticed this with onslaught or any other skill if you get hit with a skill interruption. To be honest, I don't see why you would have a skull with a cool down as your primary attack. It makes sense to me, because you can't just click and spam those spells in normal circumstances. So every time you click to try and use it, it is gonna force and auto attack to maybe let you know that the ability is unable to be used at the moment.
