The repair costs have made progression painfully slow in inferno... I hit an area where an insane combination yellow mob (I think it was molten, mortar, shielded, and horde?) bocked the only path through a cave (spider cave). There was no room to kite, and hence, no real room to manage the attack. With only 18,000 dps and 41,000 health, my DH repeatedly had the tar beat out of him. I spent 45,000 gold in repairs before giving up and realizing that I was finally at the point where I'm going to have to either

1) hit the AH for upgrades
2) farm

I chose 1... but the cost for upgrades in the gold AH has risen so much with the opening of the RMAH that I am forced into 2.

Farming the skeleton king (the only inferno boss open to me) is painful as even with over 100% magic find, the drops are terribad. Ah well... I'll keep selling the semi-ok barbarian drops that seem to always drop for me and eventually I'll be able to buy a piece of gear off the AH for myself :P

I think you're focusing a bit too much on magic-find Shoganai.

All you need to is:

-Base Stat (Dex, Int, or Str)
-Resistances (Resist All especially)
-Vit
-A high DPS weapn and a good shield.

In that order.

Now depending on your class you might want to change it up a little. But, you don't want to focus only on magic find, if you can get good gear with good stats and magic find? Then that's awesome! but bad gear is just not a great idea for Inferno no matter how much MF it has.

A good damage reduction skill build also helps.

Anyways I like 1.0.3, I hope future changes make other skills more viable personally.

Well i still enjoy diablo. With my job and two kids i dont have too much time to play. The only thing that bothers me right now are those drop rates.

I'm also waiting for torch light2. I really would like the game to come out fast. I loved the fast movement and action. Release summer 2012. Its grey and raining in belgium so i dont even know if we will have a summer in my country.

And finally waiting for guild wars2, its another genre but i really loved the beta and mostly the dynamic events.

Right now for my DH I'm running with primary stat being Dex, then Vit, then with Sockets when I'm searching on the AH. Maybe i'll switch the with sockets to resist... then maybe mortars won't smoke me repeatedly -.-

I have been thinking of ditching the quiver for a shield.. it just seems odd to be carrying a shield as a demon hunter. My weapon is decent, but not great. A blue hand crossbow that does 784 dps. Over all I think I'm at 18.5K right now, which isn't nearly enough it would seem
