Question for all you experts: can you safely learn every trick/aura you come across, or should you save the slots for the ones you might actually use? I.e. are there more in the game than the number of slots you have?

As far as I've seen and read from the forums, you have enough slots for all the tricks/auras in the game. And if you forget to buy one/some in the first act, they are offered again in the second.

Just saw one of the devs from the game make a sticky thread with this message posted there in http://steamcommunity.com/app/215530/discussions/.

Dear players,

I’d like to share some info about the close future content of Van Helsing. You can expect Scenario mod by a FREE DLC pretty soon. It will be playable in single player and in co-op mode as well. It kicks off with two levels featuring 30+ level monsters and you will have a Lair (with merchants, laboratory, etc.) Monsters respawn in the Scenario (if you leave the game to the main menu and go back). Later we will add new levels, interesting end game scripts, boss fights and unique items. Although we will not increase the level cap instead you can collect “heroic deeds” which boost your character.

Also, thank you for being part of our community.

Elyse

Glad to see the game will continue to improve in some ways.

Yeah that is good news and glad they are continuing to support the game and add some free stuff to it.

I guess they added the scenarios today...from what I understand it's two repeatable maps/quests. Read they were pretty difficult too, which is good.

*edit*

Here are the patch notes:

Some pathfinding improvements have been implemented.
