Rocket Raccoon?... Are you serious??? Who the hell is rocket raccoon????

Don't get me wrong, I love super hero games, or trying them since most suck anyway. This seems like its gonna be an MMO version of the X-MEN LEGENDS or Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Hopefully it works out.

I just remembered why I don't like superheroes.

Doesn't seem to me like the game is going to be coming out this year, so my interest is pretty low right now.

I take it you're not a John Cena/Hulk Hogan/Ultimate Warrior fan either? :D

Hated Hogan. I know nothing about Cena (too new). Ultimate Warrior was cool for a short time before my teen years. Not sure how any of this is relevant.

I still have my reservations as well. It sounds good when the devs talk about it. But the footage is not really smooth. And what I hear from others it isn't all that great either. To top it off we had NCSoft with City of Heroes and we had that other super hero MMO. Now we get this third MMO super hero attempt. Is three times the charm? I think it'll be three strikes, you're out!.

Yes, David Brevik invented Diablo 1 in his bedroom while he was a student - but without the important influence of Max and Erich Schaefer (who are now making the Torchlight games together with Travis Baldree) it would have been a round-based game (as Brevik first intended - he was opposed to real-time combat and that took quite some convincing).

Also he is not a blue-eyed student anymore - and after Flagship Studios (even more true for Gazillion/Gargantuan than for Turbine) he's been mostly working in executive roles (and not as a game designer). I'm unsure as to how much he really designed that game - or if they just use his name/past for marketing buzz.
