Currently redoing all of the enemy spawn proxies in the game. Deleted them all from the world earlier and I am reorganizing them in the database. The originals were kind of a rush-job just to get things working in-game. Now I'm revising them in ways that I think will make for easier placement, better balance, and ultimately, more fun.

However, the world is currently monsterless, so gotta get this done before any new screenshots can appear. ; )

Ah poor monsters, I hope you will set them free again soon.

Good thing that you are working on the world so hard, make it huge not big.
Can't wait to see the screenies.

I was going to ask this earlier...is monster spawn going to be random, as in monsters dont spawn in the exact same place every time? Be nice to see them spawn in different places on the map so you never know where they will be. Also will there be a number of different monsters that can spawn in any map? Kinda got boring in TQ seeing the same monsters in the same area every single time.

In TQ you knew exactly where a monster would be (and what type)whenever you entered an area. Will GD mix it up to make it a bit more unpredictable?

... wait is that awesome? ok, how about - its like you're drunk and a grizzly bear is punching you but... no wait... its like you're drunk, you punch a grizzly bear in the face but the bear is also drunk, so it just explodes into gibs."

I wonder how much time it actually takes to reset monster spawn proxies. I can't imagine it being too time consuming, but I also imagine it taking more thought in terms of what feels right and how you want progression to be handled.

I don't know for sure though, I'm interested though.

If it's anything like the TQ editor (which I assume it's very similar), it takes a LONG time.

Let's not forget that for everything one thing Medierra says he is doing he's also got about 5-6 other things he's doing at the same time.
