help me here (i play GD just 2 weeks), if you dont convert phys to aether then isnt the conversion from aether to chaos ineffective ?

as i understand the mechanics so far the order is following
1. Skill buffs
2. Conversion
3. item and celestial buffs

and Mindwrap's base damage is physical according to grimwiki

The conversion is Chaos->Aether

I have Physical to aether conversion in the form of Mindwarp, Wrathstone and Will of the Living. With those i get a total of about 44% physical to aether conversion

Mindwarp has flat aether damage on it as well

Refer to Grimdawn.Gamepedia for overview of the game (quests, notes, skills, devotions, items)
Gracefuldusk is the item database, refer to it when looking for items.

Wait is that Discord?
Why go for Discord? (because of Arcanist's innate elemental support?)

Btw, you're right no point in arguing
Highly unlikely we'll ever agree on anything. You're the Offensive Ability whore i am the Attack Speed whore
Unfortunately this has noting to do with cadence charges, OA or atc speed.
WB simply lacks RR (if you are not building it with clairvoyant and one AD ring) and crit dmg (how ever you decide to build it) to be be more efficient.
Not to mention difference in available gear and +% to aether dmg and that alone more than compensates in lacking atc speed.

Its just elemental dmg from one point in IEE and flat elemental from gear

I think one can easily compensate for the lack of crit damage by having access to Dying God.
I do agree with the RR point.
And frequent cadence hits makes a big difference

Ah, i thought you were using Discord. They need to change the way Discord works.

Any build has access to dying god Batlemage and WB alike, but WB dont have access to crit dmg from elemental balance.
More or less frequent cadence hits, or w/e you like to call it, are already calculated in your sheet dps if cadence is on your lmb, and I don't see that dps your WB has is any higher than from my BM.

My Warborn BM had higher DPS (lower than your Iskandra BM ), i still find Witchblade's in practice performance was better.

I am not really sold on DG on a BM, the devotion setup (i went ToL) felt a little out of place.

EDIT:

Opinions?

Warborn is a root of your misleading, its a terrible armor choice for building aether batlemage, iskandra is so much better option.
Personally I didnt go ToL or Dying god, SoH is more than ok you get 20% less crit dmg but is constantly up and doesent consumes your HP, and you get abundance of +% to aether dmg.
