I just realised the real reason for announcing a 2nd expansion. It's because Medierra's still writing the Crate story which was part of the Kickstarter goals and the only one outstanding now I think. He's got writer's block so having a 2nd expansion gives him more time to get over the block - plus adds a new chapter to the story. Sneaky dev.

If it's going to be Eldritch themed then a wallpaper of The Three or of Golgoran, The Abomination should be used for the loading screen. Even Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's wallpaper on the first page of this thread wouldn't cut it imo.

Hah! Alright, to see what the 3 actually look like would be curious indeed... even if the codex entries in-game suggest entirely different things

I like it a lot!
The desert choice is perfect for the idea of gods! It makes me think about egypt/greece/roman

I wonder if the bounty system will be reworked a bit too. Not change it all, but add something to it to make them interesting to do (nice loot at the end of making many bounties for exemple). Adding bounties like killing a Nemesis could be added too... ect!

This.

In my opinion, as a company, they should invest the money they make in hiring people to make closed servers with seasons. This is (I believe) the moment where the game will be able to expand its playerbase to the moon.

Uh, no. This game is single player focused, not multiplayer. Having to waste resources on something that goes completely against the vision of the game is idiotic. Resources that could go to improving the single player, which is what the game is about.

Also, Crate isn't Blizzard, they don't have huge amounts of money to invest in multiplayer. It takes tons of money and manpower to have closed servers.

Last, this game has mods. Closed servers can't exist in a game with mods, something encouraged by the devs.
