Ah.. Thanks for sharing eis. That's pretty interesting. Can't wait to find out more about whatever it is.

Makes me wonder if any new projects will be tied to Cairn, even if remotely.

Hmm... I don't think the atmosphere really looks like GD, I'm going to say it's probably from a new project.

I see it as a black and white type game where players have a giant cow to do their bidding.

Or is it just my imagination that those cows are 2-3X the height of the door on the nearby house?

Disney Dawn - Goofy Unhinged

I get it if you don't want to make Grimmer Dawn as your next project, but try to not go too pastel and rainbows with it

Why not? Does not mean it cannot be disturbing and frightening.
Imagine a wonderful world with bright colours and friendly creatures. A real-life paradise.

Until...something happens. Could be a disease or a curse that turns creatures into vicious monsters - while still looking adorable.
Or hidious creatures rampaging in those gob-blessed lands.
You would been travelling in a sun-lit grass land in front white-washed city walls - before being suddenly surrounded by twisted sheeps and mutated bunnies craving for your blood.
How disturbing would that be ?
(Inspired from a passage of Deathstalker saga - fron Simon R Green - if some of you are familiar with it.)

I personally would not mine a more classical approach to the heroic fantasy genre, with bright magic and fearsome knights - fighting evils in their shining armour.
We don't actually see too many of well crafted titles with such a theme, imo.

Somewhere in a corner of my heart there is a hope next Crate project will be something turn based, with huge loot and itemization and class progression. Imagine Crate doing a roguelike, they could find me dead in front of my pc, well that would happen anyway, dead with a smile on my face...

Mmm...while I kinda doubt this project would be that I'd <3 a turn based / squad based game with loot and class progression near or on par with a ARPG game.

Having seen the potential for such a system playing Xcom-2 with Grimy's loot mod really makes me think such a system built from the ground up could be incredible.

To be sure, atmosphere resembles Anno series and Banished. However, the game of such a genre is overflowing and we are full.

So, as medierra gave away the answer, I closed the poll. Seems like the majority had the right idea.
