Default [Bug]Downloaded 32bit GOG client now 64bit won't launch

So I downloaded the 32bit client and after installation, I can no longer launch the 64bit version. Just launches to a black screen. 32bit client works fine. How do I fix this?

Have you tried reinstalling the 64-bit version?

So I downgraded back to 1.1.0.0 and now 64bit is working again. I think it might be a version mismatch as the GOG 32bit client is still at 1.1.0.0. Having the 64bit 1.1.0.1 released when the 32bit is still at 1.1.0.0 seems kinda odd.

I have a black screen on 64 when I start the game. The thing is I can still navigate, I can hear menu sounds. It just painted black. My GPU is totally fine.

After updating both x86 and x64 clients to 1.1.0.1, I still get a black screen when running the x64 version directly from the exe. Only way I can get x64 to run is to launch it from GOG Galaxy. And if I want to launch x86, I need to launch directly from exe since it never prompts me what version I want to launch. Seems kinda broken....

Try this.
  1. Right-click the Desktop. Select New>Shortcut.

  2. You'll have a box popup that says to put in the location. Put in the default location like so (if yours is different then adjust it):
    C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Grim Dawn\Grim Dawn.exe

  3. Now, right-click your shortcut. Select Properties.

  4. In the "Target" input field point the shortcut to the x64 executable, like so:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Grim Dawn\x64\Grim Dawn.exe

  5. Click Apply and hit OK. Double-click it and launch the game.

Yup. I got the same issue. Does it fix it if we buy forgotten gods?
