I would think that any game running on that VR headset will have to be at least a generation behind what the current cutting edge games are graphics wise even if powered by a seriously beefy GPU setup.

I've been looking into the Oculus Rift lately and have ponied up, I for one am dying to develop something that utilizes it (even if it's just converting something I've already made over to it)....not to mention play some Doom 3: BFG in a completely unique way.
I just hope this tech is the start of something fresh and new (and I'm very certain it will be, especially with the mammoth names behind it). Soul
