JT Bruce, instrumental prog metal. Really unique stuff.
I recommend starting with Bellatrix from the Universica album.

Iron Maiden is one of my favorites too, hint look at my avatar.
I too love Nightwish, pre-Anette as well, it's not the same without Tarja.

Lately though, I've been into these bands more than usual: Dream Theater, Symphony X, Masterplan, Allen-Lande (Comprised of the two singers from Symphony X and Masterplan), Kamelot, Pyramaze, Serenity, Twilightning, and Manticora.

My musical tastes are all over the place. The bands I listen to the most are:

Iron Maiden
Dream Theater
Sepultura
Grateful Dead
Phish
Pink Floyd
Emerson Lake & Palmer
Miles Davis
Stan Getz
Jeff Beck
Billy Cobham
A Tribe Called Quest
Wu-Tang Clan
Squarepusher
Aphex Twin

Like I said, all over the place.
