Default skills and keyboard options

Hi,

I have a question, but first a little explanation before:
Normally I play builds with just 2 or 3 skills I have to use with the keyboard. I can handle this in an easy way with 2 or 3 fingers. But I would like to play also builds with more skills, for example builds with the blademaster mastery. In combination with necromancer or inquisitor I can use for example 5 or 6 skills and so I have to spam the keybord with my fingers. It's not the best way in hard fights every time to look and think about, which is the right button on the keyboard. So my question: how you handle this? Is there a possibility to combine some skills in one. Or do you have a recommendation? (Sometime I saw button with "MD" or so instead of 1 or 2. What means that?)
Is anywhere a documentation?
Please apologize my wrong English. And thank you in advance.
Best regards
Hans

Welcome to the forum HansU. Like you, I tend to keep my builds simple, but I think some people have written macros for their hotkey skills so they run in a sequence. Hopefully someone else can give you more info on this soon.

Posted this before elsewhere, but this remains my recommendation. I was never good at using 1-9 buttons in any game.

My setup:

1: health potion
2: energy potion
3: rift
Q W E R: skill 1 2 3 4
A S F: skill 5 6 7
Mouse side buttons: skill 8 9
Space: skill 0
D: weapon swap
Z: quest log
X: swap skill bar
C: char screen
F: pick up items
V: reputation screen

Everything can be accessed without moving your left hand.

I have chars with as simple as 3 active skills only, and chars with many active skills like 7 active skills.

What I do is bind the skill with the shortest cool down time to number 1 button and in line to the longest cool down time to number 7. Then, I press them like playing a piano.

Also, I bind skills which have movement ability like shadow strike and blitz to left mouse button, and skills which have AoE utility like war cry and inquisitor's seal to right mouse button.

Sounds like a interesting concept. Thanks for sharing.
