Default Multiplayer

Please increase multiplayer difficulty, its easy with 2. With 4 it is not worth it, every time someone joins my hosted server. The difficulty is increased, but it's still easy, there is no difference in difficulty if someone joins.


When 1 joins increase difficulty by 20% more, from what it already does.

When the third joins, the difficulty increases by 10% more. From the 20% it already did, when the first person joined.

When the forth joins, the difficulty increases by 5% more. From the 30% total it already did, when the 2 joined.



Multiplayer is too easy, too easy.

This game is about, a single player experience with Co-Op

Balance is done in perspective of single player experience.

Yes but they added a difficulty increase when in multiplayer, so what I said is valid.

I agree, they should increase the difficulty somewhat.

I have to whole heartedly agree. The game becomes too easy with more players and ruins the experience. I love playing with other people, but sometimes it's just a snore-fest if we're all geared.

I always have fun in MP, though it's usually b/c I'm worried about lagging out and dying...

Difficulty scaling based on the number of players is problematic. Every player has the same limits on what they can tank and handle, no matter how many are helping. Unless the game comes with RPG style healers, tanks and CC, adding more does not make tanking anything easier. All you are doing is adding DPS.

Adding more HP is about all that can be done to up the difficulty, and still make the game playable in multiplayer, unless you build some very specific class combinations to play together. If you up the monster damage, all you do is make it so less people can handle multiplayer, that can normally handle single player.
