Agreed, a third expansion at least would have been nice...

Zantai, out of curiosity, is time interval in 2 weeks between Grim Misadventures related to Sprints (Scrum) in your team or it is just good tradition?

The time between Grim Misadventures has varied from monthly to bi-weekly based on what they (the devs) were/are working on and what information they wanted to pass on. So really, it's information dependent.

Since a new expansion is coming, they've continued with the bi-weekly Grim Misadventures.

That may correspond with their Sprints (if they do it that way), but it seems more likely a way for the devs to keep the community informed of what's happening and what to expect. I'm sure Zantai has the information dribble all planned out.

They started out at two week intervals, felt like a good pace to keep the community updated while development was in full throttle.

I don't think we have anybody in the studio who's experience with scrum/sprints was anything but "waste of time".

Yes, have been pretty much every 2 weeks since Zantai started them just over 6 years ago. They were cut back to monthly when the base game was released, then went back to 2 weeks in the run up to AoM, cut back again in October last year when that was released and then at the beginning of March returned to 2 weekly intervals with the announcement of Forgotten Gods.
