Question Trying to make Mortar / Sigil Pyro work; LF help!

As mentioned in the title I'm looking for help to make this mortar / sigil pyro work somehow...

https://www.grimtools.com/calc/eVLzzpdN

I have the big issue that I cant seem to get enough HP and other things so I can actually survive stuff while still keeping my main abilities strong to dish out lots of dmg.
That being said, the build has not been made ingame yet but I would like to at some point, just not as it is right now in GT.
I'm also well aware of the mortar trap builds in the "reasonably powerfull builds section" BUT truth be told I dont like to just "copy-paste" other peoples builds.
I pref. being a "special snowflake" so to say when it comes to build and I wanna try somewhat new stuff.

Hope I didn't forget anything....

Any help & suggestions are very welcome!
Cheers, Mergo!

Here you go: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/qNYDDOrZ

I had to make a few substantial changes. Most noteworthy is that I took points out of heavy ordnance (and a couple of other odd points in other skills) in order to get you more mastery points. I replaced the leggings but gave you a point in Possession so you still have 100% skill disruption protection.

You lost a bit in Destruction, but you have 2,000 more HP, 70% more Pierce resistance, 200 more OA, and 150 more DA. You also have another Mortar Trap to work with, which is pretty huge.

Finally, I gave you an extra 15% physical to chaos conversion by taking Solael's Witchfire modifier (Consecrated Blade). This will turn some of your Mortar Trap's physical damage to chaos damage (since your physical damage boosts are pitiful, it's best to turn that damage into fire/chaos).

Edit: I made another change: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/xZydd9wV

Replaced Hysteria for Mythical Combustion band. Once I got you enough pierce resistance, Hysteria isn't necessary. You got even more HP from this change as well. Your fire damage is stronger than your chaos, so it's best not to turn your fire to chaos if possible.

Damn, this is looking REALLY, REALLY solid!!!
Thanks a bunch for helping me out!

Will be somewhat hard to get these greens or similar greens tho I bet but nothing I shouldnt be able to work around I hopefully.

Also yeh I agree that I should avoid converting my fire to chaos, its just that the blazeseer set fits so nicely to everything this build uses + it offers a nice proc.... thought about replacing the belt with Myth. Ulzuins Torment so I can keep all the fire dmg. but that would also mean losing the proc which is a bit of a shame IMO.
Guess I have to test both and see what runs better.

Edit: This is how it would look with the Myth Ulzuins Torment
Seal does lose 3 lvl that way but the mortar gets a nice overall boost again... mhmmm...

I've never actually seen the blazeseer set's proc, so I didn't replace the belt in case it's better than I expected.

Regardless, 25% fire to chaos isn't terrible since you still have plenty of chaos resist reduction, I just wanted to avoid the unnecessary Hysteria conversion. I wonder why the belt was made with fire -> chaos conversion anyways; it seems less than ideal. The exact affixes on the rare items aren't necessary, but without the "renegade" prefix on the pants you'll just need a bit more investment in cunning to wear your sword and you'll have to find pierce resistance elsewhere. Any green that shores up your resistances, especially pierce, is workable.
