Actually, a thread with "least favourite TQ skills" might offer just as valuable information...

Favorite Titan Quest skills? Uhh there are many ^^
But I think: - Lightning Bolt with Chain Lightning (a big BOOM and a real cool effect (and dead enemys xD))- Sqaull with Obscured Visibillity (usefull against long-ranged enemies and I like this visual effect )- Core Dweller (a big nice guy how kicks asses. I like it )- Stone Form (real usefull and a real good idea )- Trance of Empathy (Enemies how kill them self )- Trance of Concalescense (real usefull )

throwing knives
cant touch this :P (they die before they get to me) Personally I wish they would die where they stand, an instant kill at times, instead of waiting them them to drop; it gets boring. If they were to grab their throat, chest or something and struggle or crumple to the ground, that would be sick. |

I liked Phantom Strike and Ancestoral Horn the most. The first was a really cool attack that was effective and fun to do whilst the second could be a great distraction and provided some good mass backup for a bit.

It's strange that nobody mentioned "local brain-wiper" called Spell Breaker + Spell Shock. Pure awesomeness, period. I've regretted hundreds of times that I rolled Ritualist as LAN-party healer instead of Druid, so we don't have dispel when it is desperately needed (Typhon's Thorns, anyone? ;D).
Other than that... • War Wind with spear - no comments, just *GASP*. Figure skating as it is. ![]() • Rally + Inspiration + Defiance - "my I-WIN button". Nice bit of relief for casters, and mobz start pwning themselves - especially with a little help of... • ...Study Prey + Flush Out. Refer to first point. "...errr, sorry, is there anyone? [looks at the nearby tree's top] Ah, there you are... "• Monster Lure. "AAAAAAA!!! GET THEM OFF FROM ME!!!" button. • Phantom Strike + Dream Stealer. "Now you see me, soon you won't. Oh wait... whom was I talking to?" And much more.

The horns.
I was a Champion and my friend I played online all the time with was a Conqueror. Whenever a fight would start, we would sound our horns, and I just loved that ambience... going into battle accompanied by our resounding horns.

The sound of a battle horn really is evocative eh DevinC, and in this case an iron horn could also do a nice bit of damage to the right enemy.
For me in TQ it was all about passives or synergies, which is why I played Haruspex. Watching enemies die as they struggled to hit me was glorious, as was the old phantom strike and follow-up area attack. |

Batter+Rend armor. Why - because it's a short-cooldown low-cost ACTIVE skill for melee classes. I love melee characters, but left-clicking is boring, they need more active skills.
Phantom Strike, Lethal Strike. Same reason as Batter, but i'd prefer less power, but shorter cooldown. Earth Enchantment/Storm Nimbus. Why - because i like adding magical damage to melee attacks(with skills, not with enchanted weapons). Psionic Touch+Psionic Burn. Not very effective, but STYLISH. Unleashing a magical blast+DoT with melee attack - yes, please. Last edited by jaelrin; 07-29-2010 at 05:56 AM. |
