It's one of the few arpg's that actually works better with a controller than a keyboard + mouse. As far as multi-player is concerned, as Ceno has mentioned it's local co-op only, but the interface is designed nicely to support up to 4 players on one screen. Otherwise the game is very nice and worth the 9.99 price tag.

I'm still enjoying it, and play it probably 4 nights a week. I don't always get a long run in, but I finally got my barbarian to the Elven forest

Is this a story-driven ARPG like Diablo/TQ/GD or is this just some mindless ARPG slashfest like Hero Siege?

It's about 90% the latter. There is very little lore, no towns, and very little depth to quests. However, I believe that is what it was intended to be, and it does it amazingly well. I absolutely love it for this reason, as I can pick it up, run some endgame endless dungeons, spend some endless mastery points, perfect a gear set, then get back to GD when I want something more deep.

Edit: That being said, however, it's early access and only about 62% to the final release, based on version number, so it might change between now and then.

Eh, I'll just stick with Hero Siege for the time being to fill the slash-fest void, even though the damn devs broke HS and still haven't fixed it.

Been playing this a lot recently. Got a lvl 73 warden so going well! I can't believe how much loot there is! Great fun! Seems to have a lot of build's potential!

Looks like Hero Siege isn't being fixed anytime soon, so I picked this up. Pretty fun, but the game doesn't do a very good job of explaining much, but my biggest gripe is the UI. At 2560X1440, I about need a magnifying glass just to read the UI.

Edit: Are all the maps/areas so large? It feels like I'm just spending half an hour murdering hundreds of the same three enemies over and over again which is honestly pretty boring.

I like Chronicon alot, i gets stale tho playing all by yourself... That is without a decent story to follow.
