Skills are the same. The big difference that I like is the new recipes, new charms, relics (some relics are from bosses that are REAL rare and very powerful). It took me a good 5 hours of farming the act2 Telkine for his soul and to complete his relic.

Souls are another interesting aspect as they fit into the ring slot and offer some pretty crazy flexibility.

The resistance penalty is increased and seems to be well balanced as the difficulty is right on as far as I am concerned.

TONS of new Rare Boss mobs that also have a chance of dropping their soul, so farming them is fun.

New potions that grant experience and skill points and attribute points (trust me when they drop its pretty exciting).

All in all it is one of the funnest mods out there along with Asylums. I died a ton running threw the first part of normal before getting some gear and skill points to boost damage and survivability. Farming some MI's from act4 normal helped a ton and I blast through stuff pretty fast. You still get owned if a boss has his soul equipped (yes they use them and they have a ton of stats). The act2 Telkine took me about 10 minutes to kill with his Soul, and boy was it worth it!

Ok i'm playing around with this now (single player, since my gamer bro won't get his shit together for a multi) and it's good, only problem i'm having is that it makes TQvault not work.

latest version, all fresh install just to try soulvizier.

Hmm, Soulvizier works fine with my Vault, you sure you have things installed correctly?

even mine works well. did you uninstall the previous version of the vault?

Looks like it has a problem placing some item "satyr doll, monster charm", there's no image and it's a 1x2 only displayed as a grey 1x1.
I dunno, i can prolly work around it.

Throw the dolls away, they aren't needed anyway (recipe was taken out).

saw it on moddb. I started a new char earlier, not that far along. DL and restart from the begining.

(I was also thinking about DL TL1 and going through the necropolis as a scenic drive but it is .8 G)
