Default Baldur's Gate Teaser

Well i had a boner when i first saw the news and i came just from hearing the music.

Those of you who have NOT played Baldur's Gate, educate yourselves and play probably the best RPG that was made on PC. The whole series is beyond stellar.

Anyway here is the teaser, nobody knows yet if it is a remake, a port or anythig for that matter.. but news JUST popped up on gaming news websites :
http://www.baldursgate.com/

My 2 cent? a remake of the very 1st game.. why? the quote is from the prophecy of the first game.. and its the logo.. well yeah

basically what this has done to me, is far less sleep than previously expected because i have reinstalled Baldur's gate

fingers crossed this will not be a piss poor console port and is anything like the dragon age games, (which were shit)

if this was true remake, then it should be like the original in every why, and hope its not an origin exclusive if EA has the rights to it, which they probably have

the first BG game was a classic, as was the second, I just hope its not a fecked up console port like so many remakes,

hell, knowing EA, they may make it into a FPS

Co-op Digital Deluxe Bundle I have upped my pledge to $200, to show my support to the devs and GD, I hope a few more people follow my lead and KS will be successful. I want this game so badly, and I want it to rock

Well, they did the MDK 2 HD version and it came out for PC and Wii and looked pretty good without changing it so much that it was unrecognizable. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50xFt8GfN7Y These are two of the folks who helped start Bioware and made a lot of the games that became classics, so I doubt they're going to ruin what they worked so hard on. It's actually really cool that EA is getting them to do this.

Of course, it's probably being done so that the stuff remains in copyright for the rest of eternity lol there's always some kinda angle when it comes to EA.

Whoa........

I think I need to change my tidy whities now.

If this is indeed a HD remake then I hope they do it right.

Now, Obsidian, about that Planescape: Torment sequel... Hey, a man can dream.

whaaaaaaaaat, get out of this forum now! haha

When did you play it, when it was released? because i think its harder to get into an old game nowdays rather then playing the classic at the time it is released.

Personally i,d say baldur's gate is the best rpg series, hands down

Personally not a gigantic fan of BG either...I mean they are good games but personally I enjoyed many other RPG's much more than BG.

With that said I would probably pick this up even if it's just a HD remake.

BTW, there's some more clues in the page source of the teaser site:
